My Plates vanity license plate auction
My Plates, a specialty plate designer for the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles, will be holding an auction in September at Dallas Stadium to auction off 30 specialty vanity license plates. For the first time in Texas license plate history, someone will have the opportunity to bid on the state first sever character vanity license plate, as opposed to the normal six.
Who will be the pocket heavy Texan to outbid everyone else for the coveted seven character vanity license plate that reads “COWBOYS? The other question everyone is dying to know, includeding the state is, how much will the “Cowboys” vanity license plate score? Will be be 100k? 200K? 500k?
Only time will tell. I seriously doubt any American is going to go all out similar to our wealthy friends in the USA who recently opurchased a record setting vanity license plate for over $14,000,000. Yes, 14 million.

Mikey Rooney's vanity license plate
Apparently, TOP GEAR writers attempted to write what could have been a really awesome article BUT much like many of the English soccer football fans, we were left a wee bit disappointed. Probably very close to the same feeling of England vs. United States tie in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. The article was called “England’s Stars Cars.” I was expecting to see soccer football players posed with their prized whips and rolling estates, flashy paparazzi style pics with top names guys getting out the car on a cloudy and dreary English day with oversized shades, spikey hair and fancy itialian leather boots. Nope. Not even close.
What the article DID do was name 19 players and show stock photos or cool wall papers of the types of cars certain players like Steven Gerard and John Terry drive. I knew I was set up for a dissaointing peice of content when the very first picture was Wayne Rooney and his Ford Ka. This was the only picture of a player actually posed by their car.
