It’s no secret that the Hummer H2 Tank SUV is not the most eco friendly when it comes to gas comsumption. In fact, from my research Hummer does not have to particpate in publishing EPA ratings to show consumers the average MPG this vehicle gets. I read several reports of the Hummer averaging anywhere from 7 MPG to 13 MPG. I have a feeling the guy who got 13mpg was driving down hill with the wind going in his direction and the A/C turned off! I happen to love Hummers and secretly, I’ve always wanted to own this big, powerful get outta my way or I will drive over you machine. I think deep down every man wishes he could own one of these at some time in his life.
Just one problem, the fact that the MPG is MIA!
I did the math. The H2 has a 32 gallon tank (sheesh!) and in Phoenix, AZ premium gas is selling for about $3.50 per gallon totalling $112 per fill up. I conservatively used 10 MPG to figure out how many miles a driver would get on one tank and that numbers comes to 320 miles. Thats the exact same mileage I get in a tank with my Nissan 350z and my Pathfinder. One difference, I spend less that $60 to fill up those vehicles!
Hummer drivers, I don’t know how you guys do it. That is one expensive tank. I guess like the saying goes, you’ve got to pay to play. I do have one question. Are there any liberal democrats that own a Hummer? I think I know the answer to that but someone prove me wrong.
The vanity license plate on this Hummer H2 was submitted to us by a member of hummerforums.com.

First and foremost a big thanks to Eli from Brooklyn, NY who sent in a few really good vanity license plates. With the big election day right around the corner, there is no better time than to show you guys this Obama 08 vanity/custom license plate. For the readers that have been here before, you may recall Bill Slater and his Obama 08 vanity license plate issued out of Illinois. His democtratic vanity license plate was so popular that it got him an interview from CBS’ own Katie Couric.
Not surprising that we are seeing this custom license plate on this uber-compact turbo charged 200 hp Volkswagon GTI boasting a 21-29 mpg fuel efficiency. I think a real liberal would have opted for the 170 hp TDI model with 30-41 mpg.
I wonder if there are any republicans sporting the MCAIN08 vanity license plate anywhere?

Meet Jennifer Bitton.
She is Scottsdale’s latest imfamous star due to speeding through Scottsdale 101′s photo enforcement cameras. The problem is she was captured on bandit camera 22 times. Yes…22 times. She is being charged with criminal speeding, reckless driving and endangerment with her top speed reaching 22 mph.
Im a bit confused. It takes Scottsdale police 22 violations before they arrent her at her parents home when our friend DMX was caught racing at 114 speeding one night and they were knocking his door with search warrants and back up. Hmmmmmm… I’ll let you come to your own conclusion.
So if your a young female like Jennifer Britton you get 21 chances and if your a black rapper in Cave Creek, watch out.
Aside: The only reason why the went and arrested her now is to gain the media and public’s support for the ban on license plate covers currently pending review in the Arizona Senate. So if I come up missing for exposing the “truth” blame Sheriff Joe and his posse.
Oh wait, they will be busy in Mesa.
Arizona Senate approved a bill (HB 2250) that can bar motorists from using plastic or reflective license plate covers, sprays such as our own partner Phantomplate.com, and other substances used to block or obscure their license plate to skate around expensive tickets. Below are a few samples of the items referred to in this ban.

There is still hope for all of us out there using some of these license plate covers and sprays becuase the ban is just an ammendment to the HB 2250 and there is a good chance that it may not survive when the bill return for final review.
Many people argue that the license plate covers and sprays threaten public safety and there is already a law in place calling for motorist to have visable license plates. I have my own reasoning for NOT supporting this ban. I know far too many people that have been ticketed by traffic lights and red-light cameras when they were NOT in violation of the law. Then it becomes your responsibility to defend yourself and incur the costs to prove your innocence. These machines are faulty and everyone knows that. I was stopped at an intersection last week waiting for about 2 minutes just idling, the light turned green and the very second I left my stopped position I felt like Amy Winehouse leaving a British pub there was so many distracting flashes going off FOR NO REASON! Thank goodness I have Photoblocker Spray!
At least we know that Arizona plans to balance the state budget from revenues collected from motorists now that these license plate covers and sprays could beome illegal. It’s no secret that the city has been drooling over the revenue that has came into existence just off ticketing motorists.
I’ll take my chances using a spray since a regular po-po patrolling for license plate covers won’t even know the spray is on my plate.

What do 2 Christian pastors, a humanist, a Rabbi and a Hindu group all have in common? I promise this is not a set up of a joke.
They are all suing the state of South Carolina challenging the constitutionality of the states proposed “I Believe” vanity license plate. I am not saying I am Head Nutstradamous or anything but in this case it’s safe to say, I told you so in this previous post. It failed in Florida and it will fail in S.C.
The federal lawsuit filed in Columbia, S.C., alleged the Legislature’s approval of the plate “improperly advances and endorses religion,” discriminates against faiths other than Christianity and violates freedom of speech, The State, a Columbia newspaper, reported.
The state’s Lt. Gov. Andre Bauer, who drafted the legislation, said in a statement, “For those who say this violates the Constitution by giving preference to Christianity, I think this lawsuit clearly discriminates against persons of faith.”
Lt. Gov Bauer means business, he has personally offered up $4000 to place the deposit needed in order to put the plate into reality but not until judgment comes through a federal court about this issue. It looks like someone is wearing his faith on his sleeve, let’s just hope his intentions are pure and this isn’t a stunt he is pulling to show how compassionate he is as a Christian man.
Hell, knowing that this law is going to get crucified in court, it’s probably a safe bet for Dre Bauer to tell the world he is willing to pony up the money. It’s kinda like telling your moron kid in high school with a 1.9 GPA that if he graduates in the top 5 % of his class that your gonna get him a car and his own “I Believe” vanity license plate too.
Well I have an idea of what vanity license plate our Rabbi friend will get after this groups lawsuit is successful:
