Gayle Bass, of 92.3 KTAR News and Talk Radio, also known as Click Chick has been providing the Arizona Valley listeners with daily doses of cool, wierd and the wackiest websites on the internet. I get to listen to all of her interesting findings every morning on the Ankarlo Show. On her daily blog you can find anything from Bacon Salt to the Mug Shot of the Day Section and you can even find Platenuts.com referenced on her site.
Thanks Click Chick! Keep giving us hours of unproductivity fun!

Today marks the first day of the new Arizona Department of Public Safety Photo Enforment Program. An article by azcentral.com states that by early this morning they already had between 100-100 speed violations.
It’s no secret that Arizona has been losing money in the state and looking for additional revenue sources to contribute to the the state. It looks like they found their goldmine. Smile. Your ticket is in the mail.
Time to start ordering your license plate reflectors and sprays! I did.

This is a first for me. A couple of weeks ago I saw this sick ass Pontiac GTO with this really intricate paint job and a very cool custom license plate. Obviously there was some heart and soul oured into this car. My camera phone does an injustice to the detail of the paint. I’ll admit to all three of my consistent readers out there that I have been lazy and found myself consumend with other “things.” This is one of those cars I meant to put up but never got around to it.
Many of you already know this story but for those who dont it does not have a happy ending.
Earlier this month, Thomas Verdone, 20, was driving on the highway and for unknown reasons he lost control over his vehicle. The news report states that when he lost control he began to “travel to the right, across the travel lanes, off the roadway and onto the dirt shoulder. That’s when it struck a drainage ditch and a traffic control sign. The car rolled over and came to rest on the dirt shoulder.“
Saturday, September 7, around 9:30pm, 20yr old FEARLS1 was dead. Our hearts go out to the family and friends he left behind. It never easy losing a loved one, especially so unexpectedly.
So let today’s vanity license plate of Thoman Verdone, FEARLS1 be a reminder to us all how important it is to be cautious, safe and responsible drivers. That could have been any one of us and any given time.
RIP FEARLS1

I wonder the profession of AZCOP2?
I actually like this customized license plate for two reasons:
1. This vanity license plate lets you know who you are dealing with from the start. If this Chevy takes the coveted parking you’ve been waiting for, rather than unleashing your perfectly rehearsed profanity laced tirade (that you have down pat since the last time it happened), you will simply respond with “Thank you for keeping us safe…@$$*&#%” (That last part under your breath of course).
2. The driver is proud of his profession. How many of us wake up every Monday morning thinking “If I can just make it until Friday I’ll be Ok.” This personalized license plate proudly proclaims “I want to tell everyone the love for my job.”
What profession fills you with pride, and how would your plate read?
