 Ken, a loyal platenuts.com reader was eating at Famous Dave’s  at the Arrowhead shopping center in Glendale happened to snap a quick shot of this Scion xB custom license plate.

 I know that the owner was probably going for the whole “I am driving a  hot little box looking car” theme here but one can’t help wonder if they came up with that to just throw you off.  Ah-ha! 

I suspect red eyes, empty cigar wrappers and munchies may have been the motivation behind this license plate.

 As many of you already know, some of these vanity license plates are submitted by readers of this site.  This is a user submission and his DMV “oops” moment.  He drives a 2005 Ford F-250 and just got these big metal swangers in.

I’m not a personal fan of being behind a big ass truck with swangin’ balls in my face, especially since I drive a 350z and sometimes they are practically sitting on my hood if I am in traffic.  I guess there is something out there for everyone.  The part that amazed me is that they had almost every color of veiny anatomically correct balls available for your ride-black balls, brown balls, white balls even the infamous  blue balls.  You won’t find a better example of platenuts than this.

This reader was excited to get this photo to us for the whole world to see.  Here is a bit from out conversation about his custom license plate.

Reader:   “This one slipped through the dmv also.  Going to pick them up next week. DMV is closed on the weekend here, and I was out of town when the “ready to pick up notice” came in the mail. I will send pictures when I get them, and this is what it says: “Doo Dads”.  The really funny thing is that they are going on my truck, and I am going to have a pair of BIG metal doo dads hanging from the trailer hitch…LOL LOL LOL.”

Could you imagine seeing this?

With Florida having over 100 vanity license plate options, you can choose from the confederate Klan friendly to the “one and done” championship season with the now defunct Miami Heat.  Florida Legislature is proposing a new type of personalized license plate.  This could be, if passed, the first custom license plate ever to feature a religous cross.

Now let the persecution begin.  It will be an uphill battle to pass this law granting Floridians the ability to get this vanity license plate.  Sides have already started in opposition to this custom license plate saying it’s a violation of seperation of church and state since it would be produced by the State of Florida.

Rep. Edward Bullard, the plate’s sponsor, said people who “believe in their college or university” or “believe in their football team” already have license plates they can buy. The new design is a chance for others to put a tag on their cars with “something they believe in,” he said.

Well if that’s the case Eddie, wouldn’t you have to have a Star of David vanity license plate too?  What about a vanity license plate for our Muslim citizens?  You can’t leave out the large Mormon population we have in American too.   I am sure an argument could be made for a Satanic group too that has a different set of beliefs.  Could you imaging a how cool it would be to own a “Heaven’s Gate” vanity license plate?

I Believe-the bill supporting this custom license plate will be crusified. 

Last night the Phoenix Suns faced the desperate Golden State Warriors.  With the Warriors playoff hopes on the line the Suns held the key to the remainder of Baron Davis’ and the Warriors hopes for a playoff appearance.

Though behind at half time the Warriors sporadically showed signs of life in the game establishing a second half lead hoping to get passed the Phoenix Suns. With Davis shooting only 2 for 13 he was benched the remainder of the half as the Warriors couldn’t stop the Big Cactus and Amare Stoudamire.  The Phoenix Suns pulled away victorious and I was left with this nice treat at the end of the game.  As they scanned the crowd, I had to pause my DVR to bring this guy to you.

  Darren Rowse of problogger.net declared today to be the first unofficial Blogger Appreciation Day.  In a nutshell, today is a day in which we bloggers take the time to thank someone from our own blogging community and show our appreciation.  Many of us bloggers work behind the scenes with other bloggers for content, advise, creative ideas, layout and sometimes just a fresh outside perspective.
